It's My Birthday

It's my birthday. Spent most of my year in quarantine. The fade grew into a 'fro. I shaved my beard after I lost my face in it. My boy from college said I look like Apollo Creed. I’m okay with that. My daughter is the best. My wife is everything.

The rest of my family is in good spirits. FaceTime is great. The “Due to COVID...” indefinitely postponed projects, canceled shoots, and other crummy work whatnots morphed into new professional blessings.

I've been editing photos and videos I took of myself (because, yeah, in-person clique creativity is on hiatus). I'll be sharing more soon. I hope you like.

I hope you're safe. I hope you're staying sane. I hope you’re holding on to your happy thoughts. I hope you sit tight until the vaccines hit. I hope I see you in real life soon. FaceTime isn't that great. Ain't nothin' like the real thing.
